Our Trainer

​​​Joanna Nyenhuis is the Owner, Instructor & Trainer at JRN Equestrian.

 

Jo has over 30 years of riding and horsemanship experience. Throughout her career, she has been fortunate to work with some very knowledgeable horsemen and women. Those people helped mold her into the instructor, trainer, and all-around horsewoman she is today.

Jo has been teaching for 25 years. Her students ranged from first-time riders to advanced riders working towards fine-tuning their skills.  She works to instill confidence in her riders so they are prepared to handle any situation whether it be in or out of the show ring.

​

Her students have found success while showing locally in Massachusetts, along with being successful on the very competitive GHJA Hunter/Jumper circuit while she was living in Georgia.

While Jo grew up in Massachusetts she spent time in Georgia, New York, and most recently moved from Virginia to Minnesota when her husband accepted a new job.
