Joanna Nyenhuis is the Owner, Instructor, and Trainer at JRN Equestrian.

 

With over 30 years of riding and horsemanship experience, Jo has dedicated her life to working with horses and helping others grow in their equestrian journeys. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to learn from some horsemen and women she highly respects in the industry—mentors who helped shape her into the knowledgeable and passionate instructor and trainer she is today.

Jo has been teaching for more than 20 years, working with riders of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced equestrians looking to refine their skills. She focuses on building confidence in her students, preparing them to handle any situation that may arise.

Her students have found success showing locally on the WNE-PHA circuit while in Massachusetts, as well as the highly competitive GHJA Hunter/Jumper circuit during her time in Georgia.

 

Originally from Massachusetts, Jo has also lived in Georgia, New York, and Virginia. She recently relocated to Minnesota when her husband accepted a new job, bringing her wealth of experience and dedication to the local equestrian community.
