Meet Jo – Instructor & Trainer at JRN Equestrian

 

With over 30 years of riding and horsemanship experience, Jo has dedicated her life to working with horses and helping others grow in their equestrian journeys. Over the years, she has trained under respected horsemen and women who helped shape her into the knowledgeable, compassionate instructor she is today.

Jo has spent more than 20 years teaching riders of all ages and skill levels—from first-time beginners to advanced competitors. She focuses on building confidence, strong fundamentals, and clear communication between horse and rider, preparing her students to navigate any challenge with calm and skill.

Her students have found success in the show ring, competing on the WNE-PHA circuit in Massachusetts and the GHJA Hunter/Jumper circuit in Georgia.

Originally from Massachusetts, Jo has also lived in Georgia, New York, and Virginia. She now calls Minnesota home after relocating with her husband and is excited to bring her experience and passion to the local equestrian community.
